How to choose a facial cleanser that's right for you.
There are four skin types: normal, oily, dry, and combination. If you don't know your skin type, click here to learn more.
Oily skin produces excessive oil, which can lead to acne, blackheads, and other skin problems. The best cleanser for oily skin is Salicylic Acid Anti-Acne Facial Cleanser, which contains 0.5% salicylic acid to help clear pores and reduce acne. After cleansing, you can use Anti-Acne Pore Clear Gel, which contains 2% salicylic acid for an even more effective acne treatment.
Dry skin has lower water content and less sebum production, making it more sensitive to external stimuli. It is important to choose a mild facial cleanser for dry skin, such as Edelweiss Amino Acid Facial Cleanser, which contains 30% amino acids to help cleanse and moisturize the skin.
Normal skin is not too oily or dry, so it can tolerate a variety of cleansers. If you have normal skin, you can choose Amino Acid Gentle Cleansing Gel, which contains 5% amino acids to cleanse and soothe the skin. The natural potassium cocoyl glycinate also helps to make cleansing more thorough.
