How to determine the skin type
Some friends purchased cleansing products without knowing their skin type, later experiencing skin problems. This is because the products were not suitable for their skin type. Let's talk about the different skin types.
Skin types are typically classified into four categories based on factors such as skin moisture content, skin pH, and sebum secretion. These categories include normal, dry, oily, and combination skin.
* **Normal skin** has a normal moisture content, normal skin pH, and moderate sebum secretion. It is well-adapted to external stimuli and does not typically experience dryness or oiliness.
* **Dry skin** has a low moisture content, alkaline pH, and less sebum secretion. It is sensitive to external stimuli and can become dry and flaky.
* **Oily skin** has a higher moisture content, acidic pH, and stronger sebum secretion. It is generally adaptable to external stimuli but can become oily and shiny.
* **Combination skin** has characteristics of both dry and oily skin. The skin on the forehead and nose may be oily, while the skin on the cheeks and temples may be dry.
If you want to know your skin type, you can judge it based on the above characteristics.
